Job Summary
- Issue testing reports, coordinate construction testing activities with technicians and clients, and ensure all testing is performed according to required specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Implement section policies, goals, and procedures.
- Support Senior Engineer/Department Manager in operations plans.
- Respond to customer inquiries about testing progress.
- Prepare and check material testing reports.
- Follow up laboratory tests of construction materials.
- Analyze test data and conduct corrective actions.
- Set testing schedules and supervise technicians.
- Conduct special inspection reports and communicate results.
- Ensure tests comply with standard methods.
- Ensure equipment is fit for use and safety regulations are followed.
- Receive and inspect material samples.
- Prepare Sample Disposal Schedule.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- 0 2 years of experience in Civil Engineering.
- Knowledge of building codes (ACI, UBC, SBC) and testing methods (ASTM, BS, AASHTO, ANSI, CIRIA).
- Knowledge of ISO 17025/9001/45001/14001.
- Fundamentals of materials science and testing.
- Occupational safety knowledge.
