Materials Controller

Overview

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records covering receiving, inspection, stock control, issuance, reconciliation, cycle counting, and material traceability; prepare daily inventory reports for CME, maintaining high inventory accuracy and real-time stock visibility.
• Operate ERP (Oracle Cloud) for GRN (Goods Receipt Note), GI (Goods Issue), SMR (Site Material Request), MRF (Material Requisition Form), Purchase Requisition creation, material code creation, and inventory movement types to ensure accurate inventory transactions, documentation and real-time stock co
• Interpret Material Take-Off (MTO) documents and engineering drawings to verify incoming deliveries against specified items, grades, sizes, and quantities, identifying and resolving discrepancies between the purchase orders and physical stock before acceptance to reduce the risk of incorrect or mater
• Receive incoming materials with CME, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes; support inspections with project consultants (Egis, Engicon, and Mott MacDonald) and refer non-conforming items to QA/QC prior to sign-off.
• Prepare and maintain receiving reports and supporting documentation, including Bill of Lading, Country of Origin Certificate, Packing List, Inspection Certificate, Warranty, and Material Test Certificates; report damaged or missing items immediately with photographic evidence.
• Coordinate with procurement and CME to arrange offloading equipment and storage for specialized equipment including decanter centrifuges, UV disinfection systems, chemical dosing systems, submersible pumps, disc filters, gas holders, boilers, scrubbers, and gas flares.
