Job Description
Parsons is seeking a Material / QAQC Engineer – Marine for its Construction Supervision team in Abu Dhabi.
The role leads materials QA/QC activities for marine and infrastructure works through inspections, testing coordination, documentation, and compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
What You Will Do
- Implement and maintain project QA/QC plans, procedures, and site quality controls for marine and infrastructure activities.
- Review material submittals and approvals and verify delivered materials comply with approved submittals and specifications.
- Coordinate and witness field and laboratory sampling and testing and ensure results meet acceptance criteria.
- Conduct inspections and audits, raise NCRs and observations, and follow corrective and preventive actions to closure.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and site teams to resolve quality issues and prevent rework.
- Maintain QA/QC records, inspection logs, test reports, and close-out and handover documentation.
- Promote compliance with HSE requirements while executing on-site QA/QC responsibilities.
What Required Skills You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of QA/QC and materials inspection experience in the UAE.
