Material Planner

Undergraduate degree/diploma in business, materials or operations management desirable

Previous experience of materials planning ideally in the automotive or manufacturing environment is required

Ability to work weekends, evenings and overtime

Good understanding of supply chain processes and their interdependencies

Understanding of supplier relationships and some experience working with suppliers is preferred

Exhibit teamwork skills and actively participate in activities intended to improve operational processes

Ability to root cause and develop corrective actions to prevent problem recurrence

Knowledge of Lean principles, ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949 Supplier Management

Ability to enter and manipulate data in Microsoft Excel, Portal, Trans4M and Rocket

Must be Customer Focused and Safety Oriented

Ability to organize priorities based on deadlines and importance of tasks

Manage time efficiently while working on several different tasks at once
