Your Future Role
The Material Planner will support the seamless flow of materials for production and project needs.
The role works with Industrial Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, and Finance teams.
The position leads material planning, manages supplier KPIs, drives team performance, and develops team competencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply core model processes for material planning and master data management.
- Manage supplier performance KPIs and align raw material coverage with targets.
- Collaborate with Procurement on supplier risk, impact management, and supplier selection.
- Lead supplier escalation processes and support Material Planners with issue resolution.
- Ensure material planning master data accuracy and contractual compliance.
- Organize reviews to monitor supplier performance and delivery confirmations.
- Validate delivery performance KPIs and implement stakeholder action plans.
- Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Develop team competencies and manage performance through feedback and reviews.
Qualifications and Skills
- At least 6 years of experience with a mechanical engineering background.
- Knowledge of materials requirements planning and supplier delivery performance management.
- Experience with SAP GSI, SAP HANA, or SAP systems.
- Advanced Excel, digital analytics, Power BI, or Qlik skills.
- Supply chain or project management certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
- Strong lean management, team leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English.
Additional Advantage
- Knowledge of a local language is a plus.
