Role Overview
Manage supplier schedules, material follow-up, inventory, invoices, freight, and material availability for in-house production.
The role supports Versigent’s EDS operations in Hoskote.
Material Planning and Suppliers
- Release and monitor schedules sent to suppliers.
- Track and follow up on material requirements with suppliers.
- Use MRP and MPS processes to manage supplier schedules and communicate gaps to the production planner.
- Follow customer engineering change notices while avoiding obsolete inventory impacts.
- Maintain minimum and maximum inventory levels according to Versigent stock norms.
Logistics and Finance Coordination
- Coordinate supplier invoices and initiate cargo movements.
- Maintain premium freight performance against business-plan targets.
- Coordinate surface, sea, and air shipments with the logistics team to deliver goods to the plant on time.
- Process supplier invoice accounting through goods receipt notes.
- Coordinate with finance to resolve supplier payment issues.
