Material Handler

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and verify quantity and quality against delivery documents.
• Load, unload, move, stack, and arrange materials using proper handling procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP or warehouse systems.
• Prepare materials for dispatch, production, or internal transfer.
• Conduct routine stock checks and assist in inventory audits.
• Ensure proper labeling, storage, and housekeeping in warehouse areas.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory practices where applicable.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and production departments for material availability.
• Report damaged, missing, or excess materials to supervisors.
• Operate material handling equipment safely (forklift, pallet jack, trolley, etc.) if authorized.
• Follow company safety standards and warehouse procedures.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
• Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems is an advantage.
• Ability to lift and move materials safely.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic knowledge of warehousing practices and methods.
• Basic knowledge of using warehouse machinery/ tools.
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Good English communication skills with knowledge of a sub-continent Asian
• languages.Education Qualification: +2Experience: 2-3 Years of relevant experience.
• Receive the goods from all concessions partners, and arranges the item in
• the staging / storage in as per the guidelines.
• Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
• Labeling every product and placing them accordingly.
• Prepare and ready the goods received for the Customs scanning and
• required procedure, once gantry scanning completed; load the goods in
• refrigerated vans / trucks to deliver these goods to the requested
• concessions partners.
• Ensure that goods are delivered to concessionaires within the agreed
• timeframe.
• Assist with sorting, deboxing and moving pallets/materials on the plant
• floor.
• Follow proper trailer loading and unloading lock-out/tag out procedure.
• Maintain standards of the highest quality and compliance with HSE
• requirements.
• Ascertain areas of concern and report to Operations Supervisor to resolve
• these as effectively as possible.
• Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED3,690.00 per month
