Responsibilities
- Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults across a wide range of passenger vehicles
- Perform advanced repairs on engines, transmissions, suspension systems, steering, braking systems, and electrical components
- Utilize OEM and aftermarket diagnostic equipment to accurately identify and resolve vehicle issues
- Interpret wiring diagrams, technical manuals, service bulletins, and manufacturer repair procedures
- Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, and quality checks in accordance with company and manufacturer standards
- Test drive vehicles where required to verify repairs and ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, diagnostics, repairs performed, and parts utilized
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to junior technicians and apprentices
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Collaborate with Service Advisors and Operations teams to ensure timely completion of repair orders
- Stay updated with evolving automotive technologies, diagnostic methods, and manufacturer procedures
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Automotive Technical Certification or Diploma preferred
- Minimum 5 years of hands on experience as an Automotive Technician or Senior Technician
- Strong experience working on multiple automotive brands
- Advanced knowledge of automotive mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
- Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic scanners and repair software
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Physically fit and capable of working in workshop and onsite environments
- UAE driving license is an added advantage
