Massage Therapist

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional massage and body therapy treatments to clients.
• Assess clients’ needs and recommend suitable therapies and treatments.
• Perform various massage techniques such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Thai, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone, and Sports Massage.
• Maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and spa facilities in a clean and hygienic condition.
• Ensure client comfort, privacy, and safety during treatments.
• Keep accurate client treatment records and medical history where required.
• Educate clients on wellness, relaxation techniques, and aftercare recommendations.
• Follow health, safety, and infection control policies and procedures.
• Promote spa services, packages, and retail products when appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with spa, wellness, or healthcare teams to ensure excellent customer experience.

Requirements

• Diploma or certification in Massage Therapy or related field.
• DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter preferred (for UAE positions).
• Proven experience as a Massage Therapist, Spa Therapist, or Wellness Therapist.
• Knowledge of different massage therapies and body treatments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays if required.

• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of wellness and holistic therapies.
• Ability to handle clients professionally and maintain confidentiality.
• Multilingual communication skills are an advantage.
