Position Summary

Provide massage services and body treatments to hotel spa guests.

Assess guest needs and contraindications before services and maintain guest comfort, safety, and security.

Maintain current skills and licensure in the service area according to regional requirements.

Workplace and Schedule

  • The role is located at the W Doha spa in West Bay, Doha, Qatar.
  • The schedule is full time and the position is not remote.
  • The position is classified as non-management.

Spa Services and Guest Care

  • Provide massage services using props and products.
  • Provide body scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy treatments.
  • Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and check frequently to promote comfort and safety.
  • Promote and sell spa and salon services, including related retail offerings.
  • Handle inappropriate guest behavior according to company procedures, including stopping a treatment when necessary.

Room, Equipment, and Safety Duties

  • Arrange workstations, treatment rooms, and drapes.
  • Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools and keep treatment areas clean throughout the shift.
  • Dispose of trash and dirty linens and secure supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
  • Monitor and follow the daily time schedule.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions and complete safety training and certifications.

Qualifications

  • A state or regional massage license is required.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
  • A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
