Role Description
The Marketplace Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing online marketplace operations to drive sales performance, brand visibility, and customer engagement across e-commerce platforms.
This role focuses on marketplace account management, product listing optimization, campaign coordination, performance analysis, and operational support to ensure business growth and efficient marketplace operations.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Managing daily operations across online marketplace platforms
- Creating, updating, and optimizing product listings and digital content
- Monitoring sales performance, pricing, inventory levels, and marketplace KPIs
- Coordinating promotional campaigns, advertisements, and marketplace activities
- Analyzing marketplace trends, customer behavior, and competitor performance
- Managing order processing, fulfillment coordination, and customer issue resolution
- Collaborating with marketing, logistics, and customer service teams to improve operational efficiency
- Supporting marketplace expansion and growth initiatives
- Preparing sales reports, performance dashboards, and operational analysis
- Ensuring compliance with marketplace policies, brand guidelines, and operational standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-Commerce, Digital Business, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace operations, digital sales, or online business roles
- Strong understanding of online marketplace platforms and e-commerce operations
- Experience with marketplace tools, analytics, and performance reporting
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and digital reporting tools
- Ability to manage multiple products, campaigns, and operational tasks effectively
- Experience in retail, FMCG, fashion, electronics, or consumer goods industries is an advantage
