About the Role
AL BAKER GROUP seeks a Marketing Promotions Manager to develop and execute marketing strategies for pharmaceutical products in Qatar. The role involves managing promotional campaigns, contracts, regulatory submissions, and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns for pharmaceutical products in Qatar
- Conduct local market research, competitor analysis, and identify business growth opportunities
- Prepare marketing materials, presentations, and promotional collateral aligned with local regulations
- Plan and oversee promotional campaigns targeting doctors, pharmacies, and healthcare institutions
- Coordinate with sales and field teams to ensure marketing initiatives are implemented effectively
- Organize events, workshops, and product launches within Qatar in line with regulatory guidelines
- Prepare, review, and manage contracts with distributors, healthcare institutions, and business partners
- Submit documentation to Ministry of Public Health for product registration and approvals
- Liaise with cross functional teams: Sales, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and Supply Chain
- Maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals, distributors, and key clients
- Provide management with regular reports on marketing outcomes, contractual progress, and ROI
- Ensure all activities comply with Qatar laws, MOPH regulations, and ethical standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Medicine
- Strong knowledge of Qatari pharmaceutical regulations and compliance
- Experience handling contracts, legal documentation, and regulatory submissions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret market and sales data
- Leadership and team management capabilities
- Experience in Gulf region or familiarity with GCC pharmaceuticals preferred

- Marketing & Brand Management: Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns for pharmaceutical products in Qatar.
- Conduct local market research, competitor analysis, and identify business growth opportunities.
- Prepare marketing materials, presentations, and promotional collateral aligned with local regulations.
- Monitor product and brand performance and provide actionable insights.
Promotions & Field Activities
- Plan and oversee promotional campaigns targeting doctors, pharmacies, and healthcare institutions in Qatar.

- Organize events, workshops, and product launches within Qatar in line with regulatory guidelines.

Contracts & Business Submissions
- Prepare, review, and manage contracts with distributors, healthcare institutions, and other business partners in Qatar.

- Ensure timely follow up on submissions and approvals to support market expansion.
Stakeholder Management

Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all marketing, promotional, and contractual activities fully comply with Qatar laws, MOPH regulations, and ethical standards.
- Track KPIs, campaign performance, and budget utilization.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Qatari pharmaceutical regulations, approvals, and compliance requirements.
- Experience handling contracts, legal documentation, and regulatory submissions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret market and sales data.
- Leadership and team management capabilities.
- Scientific background combined with strong marketing and business acumen.
- Preferably have experience in the Gulf region or familiarity with GCC pharmaceuticals.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy / Life Sciences / Medicine (B.Pharm, MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS).
- Masters in Pharmaceutical Management/M. Pharma preferred.
- Certifications in pharma marketing are a plus.
