Roles & Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Brand Management: Develop and execute marketing strategies and campaigns for pharmaceutical products in Qatar.
  • Conduct local market research, competitor analysis, and identify business growth opportunities.
  • Prepare marketing materials, presentations, and promotional collateral aligned with local regulations.
  • Monitor product and brand performance and provide actionable insights.

Promotions & Field Activities

  • Plan and oversee promotional campaigns targeting doctors, pharmacies, and healthcare institutions in Qatar.
  • Coordinate with sales and field teams to ensure marketing initiatives are implemented effectively.
  • Organize events, workshops, and product launches within Qatar in line with regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure all promotional activities comply with Qatari pharmaceutical regulations and company policies.

Contracts & Business Submissions

  • Prepare, review, and manage contracts with distributors, healthcare institutions, and other business partners in Qatar.
  • Submit documentation to the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) or other regulatory bodies for product registration, approvals, and business growth initiatives.
  • Ensure timely follow up on submissions and approvals to support market expansion.

Stakeholder Management

  • Liaise with cross functional teams: Sales, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and Supply Chain.
  • Maintain professional relationships with healthcare professionals, distributors, and key clients.
  • Provide management with regular reports on marketing outcomes, contractual progress, and ROI.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Ensure all marketing, promotional, and contractual activities fully comply with Qatar laws, MOPH regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Track KPIs, campaign performance, and budget utilization.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of Qatari pharmaceutical regulations, approvals, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience handling contracts, legal documentation, and regulatory submissions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret market and sales data.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Scientific background combined with strong marketing and business acumen.
  • Preferably have experience in the Gulf region or familiarity with GCC pharmaceuticals.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy / Life Sciences / Medicine (B.Pharm, MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS).
  • Masters in Pharmaceutical Management/M. Pharma preferred.
  • Certifications in pharma marketing are a plus.
