Position Summary
The Marketing Manager for GYN Surgical Solutions in Canada is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that drive awareness, adoption, and growth of Hologic’s portfolio across the gynecology specialty.
This role partners closely with sales, clinical applications, market access, and global marketing to deliver customer-focused programs that support healthcare providers in improving outcomes for women’s health.
The Marketing Manager will lead product positioning, demand generation, market development activities, and commercial launch readiness while ensuring alignment with Canadian regulatory and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to grow Hologic’s GYN Surgical Solutions portfolio in the Canadian market.
- Translate global marketing strategies into locally relevant programs that address Canadian customer needs, clinical practices, and reimbursement environments.
- Partner with the Canadian sales organization to support pipeline development, account engagement, and revenue growth.
- Lead product marketing initiatives including positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, and value proposition development.
- Plan and execute product launches, campaigns, and promotional programs in collaboration with local, global marketing and cross‑functional teams.
- Manage marketing campaigns across multiple channels including digital marketing, conferences, educational programs, and customer events.
- Support key opinion leader (KOL) engagement and clinical advocacy initiatives.
- Develop sales enablement tools including presentations, collateral, training materials, and competitive insights.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform strategy and tactical plans.
- Track and report on marketing performance metrics, campaign effectiveness, and return on investment.
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events across Canada.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA considered an asset.
- 5–8 years of marketing experience in healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, or life sciences.
- Experience in product marketing, downstream marketing, sales, or commercial marketing preferred.
- Knowledge of the Canadian healthcare system and hospital procurement environment is strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate insights into action.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional and global teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in women’s health, the surgical environment, medical device, pharmaceutical markets.
- Product launch experience within regulated healthcare environments.
- Experience working with KOLs, clinical societies, and medical education programs.
- Familiarity with Canadian regulatory and promotional compliance standards.
Travel
- Approximately 25–40% travel within Canada for customer meetings, conferences, and internal collaboration.
Impact of the Role
- This role plays a critical part in advancing Hologic’s mission to improve women’s health by ensuring that healthcare providers across Canada have access to innovative technologies and education that support early detection and effective management of breast cancer and skeletal health conditions
The total compensation range for this role is 110,000 - 160,000 CAD.
This is based on a base salary and commission plan combination.
Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, territory/ geography, education, business needs, market demand and performance versus quota.
