About Qawafel

  • Qawafel is building digital financial infrastructure for businesses in Saudi Arabia. Our mission is to make B2B financing, credit, and financial operations easier, faster, and more reliable for the companies that keep the economy running.
  • This is our first marketing hire. As Marketing Manager, you will build Qawafel's marketing function from scratch, along with the engine behind it, and own how the company reaches and wins Saudi SMEs.

The Role

  • You will build Qawafel's marketing engine from end to end: owning the brand and the story, setting up the growth channels, and putting the stack and measurement in place.
  • This is a hands on job. You will write the copy, brief the designers, run the channels, and set up the tools yourself, with budget to bring in specialists where it counts.
  • You will work closely with the founder, leadership, and product to build a brand that Saudi SMEs trust and a demand engine that reaches them.

What You'll Do

  • Build the marketing engine: set up the channels, funnel, and stack (CRM, marketing automation, analytics, attribution) so Qawafel can acquire, convert, and measure from day one.
  • Own brand and positioning. Develop the narrative in Arabic and English, shape the visual identity, and build the public face across the website, LinkedIn, the founder's channel, and the company one pager.
  • Run growth and demand generation across content, SEO, paid, events, and partnerships to reach Saudi SME owners and feed pipeline.
  • Lead product marketing and go to market: own positioning and messaging by segment, build sales enablement and collateral, and keep a launch plan ready to execute the day we go live.
  • Put proof at the center of how we communicate, through customer case studies, SME testimonials, and partner references.
  • Own communications and PR: run launch comms and press relationships, support the founder's thought leadership, and develop the company's point of view on the Saudi SME trade finance gap.
  • Define the marketing KPIs and funnel metrics, and report on how marketing contributes to pipeline and growth.
  • Translate complex financing into messaging an SME owner understands right away.
  • Bring in and manage specialists and agencies, from designers and writers to performance help, and grow the team over time.

What You'll Bring

  • 6+ years across marketing, covering brand, growth or demand generation, and communications, ideally in fintech, financial services, or another regulated industry.
  • A full funnel builder: you've set up channels, campaigns, and the marketing stack yourself, not only managed brand or agencies.
  • Full fluency in Arabic and English, writing at a native level in both, with a strong writer's instinct.
  • Analytical and commercial: comfortable defining metrics, reading a funnel, and making channel and budget decisions from data.
  • Comfortable being the whole marketing function today and building the team as we grow.
  • Strong judgment on brand, messaging, channel strategy, and where to spend.
  • Based in Saudi Arabia.

Nice to Have

  • Experience taking a B2B product to market or running a launch from start to finish.
  • Hands on familiarity with the marketing stack, including CRM, marketing automation, analytics, and attribution.
  • A network among Saudi business and fintech press.
  • Familiarity with how SAMA regulated companies communicate publicly.
  • Experience marketing to SMEs or working in B2B financial services.
