Job Description

  • Join our team as a Manager, Insurance and Partnerships! In this role, you’ll execute and optimize our insurance and other partner programs to increase the number of patient exams, drive product revenue, enhance the patient experience, strengthen our brand awareness and develop innovative ways to Enh
  • This position is based at our Home Office in Calgary.

Insurance Program Operations & Management

  • Manage day to day operations of existing insurance and affinity partnerships, coordinating with insurance providers and partner payers on marketing programs.
  • Monitor program and affinity partner performance, metrics, and service levels to uphold partnership agreements and patient satisfaction standards.
  • Manage setup and communication roll out for new affinity and insurance partners across internal teams.
  • Maintain and improve operational processes to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Resolve operational issues between clinics and insurance partners, while proactively identify opportunities to improve program performance and Patient experience.
  • Develop partnership roadmaps to ensure future evolution of insurance programs.
  • Evaluate and execute new affinity partnership opportunities assessing fit and revenue potential.

Marketing Support & Campaign Execution

  • Develop and execute innovative, targeted marketing programs, communications, and campaigns for insurance partnerships.
  • Create educational content about eye health benefits and insurance coverage options.
  • Coordinate marketing activities across multiple channels including digital platforms, partner portals, and in clinic materials.
  • Track marketing campaign performance and optimize messaging based on engagement and conversion metrics.
  • Coordinate wellness events, develop creative ideas to capitalize on these opportunities.
  • Create marketing materials, including newsletter articles and campaign recommendations.
  • Present brand calendars and initiatives to external marketing teams to gain buy in.
  • Identify opportunities to expand the reach of insurance marketing initiatives.

Partnership Account Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing insurance and affinity partners through regular communication and support.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with partners to assess program performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with partners on patient communication strategies and benefit utilization initiatives.
  • Support contract renewals and partnership agreements in coordination with business development and senior leadership teams.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly insurance marketing recaps to internal and external stakeholders.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze program data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for operational improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports on partnership performance, patient utilization, and program ROI for senior leadership.
  • Leverage data to target and drive regular eye exams and patient connections.

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with clinic operations teams to ensure consistent partnership program delivery across all locations.
  • Work with IT teams to ensure digital integration between internal and partner systems.
  • Support training initiatives for clinic staff on partnership programs and procedures.
  • Participate in cross functional projects related to patient experience and operational excellence.
  • Ensure all programs comply with internal, regulatory and industry standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and organizational goals.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing.
  • 5+ years’ experience in marketing, business development or program management functions, experience in Health Insurance considered an asset.
  • Expertise in partnership management, customer acquisitions and program execution – with a focus on insurance partners.
  • Ability to create and deliver competitive, high value solutions to our partners.
  • Strong background in complex partner marketing programs.
  • Experience in leading change management and implementing process improvements.
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office products, especially MS Excel.
  • Ability to support and execute Insurance and Affinity programs.
  • Professionalism, technical proficiency, and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of pricing, offer development, financial modeling, and KPI analysis.
  • Outstanding communication skills with the ability to provide guidance and instruction at all levels.
  • Ability to leverage analytics to optimize programs, measure performance, and drive business growth.
