Responsibilities
- Build a steady presence in regional trade and business media through earned coverage, commentary, and bylined pieces
- Own awards and rankings programme end to end: identify, enter, and amplify wins
- Turn Managing Partner’s profile and agency’s wins into a consistent drumbeat of content and commentary
- Commission, distribute, and amplify content across LinkedIn, website, and earned channels
- Secure speaker slots, panels, and visibility for the agency at key industry events
- Build reputation and visibility with priority accounts to earn consideration in pitch lists
- Create origination moments that turn awareness into business through speaker slots, panels, demos, and events
- Track interested parties, coordinate next steps, and keep threads warm
- Run marketing operation hands on: calendar, channels, website, LinkedIn, external agencies, freelancers, and budget
Requirements
- B2B, agency, consulting, or professional services marketing and communications background
- Genuine strength in earned media and PR, thought leadership content, awards and rankings, events and speaker placement, and organic LinkedIn
- Proven ability to make a brand visible and talked about among a senior, niche audience
- Self sufficient doer who builds and runs the machine personally
- GCC market knowledge and existing relationships with regional press, organisers, and partners are a strong advantage
- Comfortable amplifying senior executives’ personal profiles
- Experienced managing external PR agencies and freelance resource
- Arabic is a plus, not essential

The Role
- The role is designed for a hands on Marketing & Communications Manager who can make Mediaplus Middle East visible and respected across the GCC.
- Focus on building reputation through earned media, PR, awards, thought leadership content, and event presence.
- This person should be a self sufficient storyteller with B2B or agency marketing experience, strong regional knowledge, and ability to manage external PR and freelance resources.
Reputation, PR, and awards
- Build a steady presence in regional trade and business media — earned coverage, commentary, and bylined pieces
- Own our awards and rankings programme end to end: identify, enter, and amplify wins
Thought leadership and content
- Turn the Managing Partner’s profile and frameworks, and the agency’s wins, people, and AI capability, into a consistent drumbeat of content and commentary
- Commission, distribute, and amplify content across LinkedIn, the website, and earned channels
Events and industry presence
- Secure speaker slots, panels, and visibility for the agency and the Managing Partner at key events
- Make sure we are seen and remembered where our target audience gathers
Creating opportunity, and running the machine
- Build reputation and visibility with priority accounts so we earn consideration when pitch lists are drawn up
- Create origination moments that turn awareness into business — speaker slots, panels, demos, and events
- Own the follow through so opportunity does not leak: track who shows interest, coordinate the next step, and keep threads warm
- Run the marketing operation hands on: calendar, channels, website and LinkedIn, external agencies and freelancers, and the marketing budget
Background and experience
- A B2B, agency, consulting, or professional services marketing and communications background
- Genuine strength in earned media and PR, thought leadership content, awards and rankings, events and speaker placement, and organic LinkedIn
