Role Description

  • The Market Research Assistant / Market Research Analyst is responsible for conducting market research, analyzing consumer behavior, and generating data driven insights to support business strategy, product development, and marketing initiatives.
  • This role gathers and interprets quantitative and qualitative information to identify market opportunities, evaluate industry trends, and support informed decision making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collecting and analyzing data from surveys, market reports, customer feedback, sales performance, digital analytics, and other research sources
  • Organizing and validating datasets, identifying patterns and trends, and translating research findings into actionable recommendations
  • Preparing market research reports, competitive analyses, dashboards, presentations, and executive summaries
  • Monitoring competitor activities, pricing strategies, customer preferences, and emerging market developments
  • Collaborating with marketing, product, sales, and management teams to define research objectives and evaluate campaign performance
  • Contributing to improving research methodologies, reporting processes, and data quality

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of market research methodologies, consumer behavior analysis, competitive intelligence, and business analysis principles
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet applications, data analysis tools, survey platforms, and reporting software
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of survey design, sampling techniques, statistical analysis, customer segmentation, market sizing, and performance measurement concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple research projects
