Responsibilities
- Supervise daily marine construction activities such as dredging, piling, jetty works, quay walls, and offshore structures
- Allocate tasks to workers, operators, and subcontractors based on project priorities
- Ensure all works are carried out as per approved drawings, method statements, and safety regulations
- Monitor workforce productivity and ensure efficient utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment
- Coordinate with site engineers, surveyors, and marine crew for smooth operations
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and enforce HSE standards
- Inspect ongoing work to ensure quality compliance and report any deviations
- Maintain daily progress reports and site records
- Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of marine equipment such as barges, cranes, and boats
- Identify and resolve on site issues and escalate critical matters to management
Requirements
- Supervisory experience in marine construction
- Knowledge of marine construction methods and safety regulations
- Ability to coordinate with site engineers and marine crew
