- Monitor the extraction, cutting, and finishing of marble, ensuring precision and minimizing waste to optimize resource utilization.
- Coordinate the logistics of material handling, transportation, and storage of raw and finished marble products.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and procedures, conducting regular site inspections and hazard assessments to prevent accidents.
- Maintain equipment and machinery, scheduling regular maintenance and repairs to ensure operational efficiency and longevity.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide progress updates and address any site specific issues or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and permits related to quarrying and stone processing operations.
- Develop and implement efficient work plans and schedules for all site activities, maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime.
- Control site inventory, managing stock levels of raw materials, tools, and consumables.
Requirements
- Experience in monitoring extraction, cutting, and finishing of marble
- Ability to coordinate logistics of material handling, transportation, and storage
- Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to conduct site inspections
- Ability to liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients
