An innovation-driven manufacturing organization seeks a Manufacturing Systems Manager to lead strategy, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing systems. You will oversee MES, ERP, SCADA, IIoT, and drive Industry 4.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing systems strategies, governance frameworks, technology roadmaps, and operational standards aligned with organizational objectives
- Lead the implementation, configuration, integration, and optimization of MES, ERP, SCADA, IIoT platforms, and related manufacturing technologies
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Production, IT, Quality, Supply Chain, Maintenance, HSE, Procurement, and Executive Leadership to deliver integrated manufacturing solutions
- Manage the complete lifecycle of manufacturing systems including requirements gathering, system design, testing, deployment, upgrades, change management, UAT, training, and ongoing support
- Establish governance processes for system security, data integrity, configuration management, version control, documentation, release management, and business continuity
- Monitor KPIs including OEE, system availability, production efficiency, equipment utilization, throughput, downtime, first pass yield, defect rates, and project delivery performance
- Analyze manufacturing data, production trends, machine performance, quality metrics, and operational workflows to identify optimization and continuous improvement opportunities
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards, quality management systems, cybersecurity requirements, industry regulations, environmental standards, and organizational policies
- Drive Industry 4.0 initiatives through digital twins, AI powered manufacturing analytics, predictive maintenance, robotics, automation, IIoT connectivity, cloud manufacturing, and smart factory technologies
- Manage relationships with manufacturing software vendors, automation providers, systems integrators, equipment manufacturers, and external technology partners
- Prepare manufacturing systems reports, production dashboards, executive presentations, business cases, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop manufacturing systems engineers, automation specialists, MES administrators, production analysts, and cross functional teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing systems, manufacturing engineering, industrial automation, MES administration, production technology, or related roles
- At least 2 years of experience managing manufacturing systems, industrial technology projects, or cross functional technical teams preferred
- Strong understanding of MES, ERP integration, SCADA, PLCs, industrial automation, production planning, quality systems, manufacturing operations, and Industry 4.0 principles
- Experience with MES platforms such as Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, AVEVA MES, SAP ME, Oracle Manufacturing Cloud, or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Power BI, SQL databases, and industrial data analytics tools
- Strong leadership, analytical, communication, stakeholder management, project management, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple manufacturing technology initiatives while balancing production performance, system reliability, quality, safety, compliance, budgets, and business priorities

The Role

- Master's degree or professional certifications in Manufacturing Systems, Industrial Automation, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, ISA, SAP, Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Microsoft Certified, or equivalent are highly advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing systems, manufacturing engineering, industrial automation, MES administration, production technology, or related roles.
- At least 2 years of experience managing manufacturing systems, industrial technology projects, or cross functional technical teams preferred.
- Strong understanding of MES, ERP integration, SCADA, PLCs, industrial automation, production planning, quality systems, manufacturing operations, and Industry 4.0 principles.
