Role Overview
- Manufacturing Specialist (Remote)
- We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Manufacturing Expert to work on a contractual basis.
- This person will utilize their expertise to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, and enhance productivity within the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, and develop strategies to increase productivity and reduce waste
- Conduct research and analysis to stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement
- Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on new processes, technologies, and best practices, and provide coaching and guidance to ensure successful adoption
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify and prioritize projects, and develop business cases to support investment in new technologies, processes, and initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong educational background in a relevant field, such as engineering, operations management, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Deep understanding of manufacturing principles, practices, and technologies, including lean manufacturing, six sigma, and total productive maintenance
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends and patterns, and develop effective solutions
- Experience working with cross functional teams, including engineering, operations, and quality, and be able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Proven track record of driving process improvements, reducing costs, and enhancing productivity, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
