Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Analyst Manager (Level K) to join our 787 Stability & Performance Team in North Charleston, South Carolina.
This role will be strategic to the development and implementation standards across the BCA production system.
It is essential for driving excellence in our manufacturing processes.
The ideal candidate will be a leader able to effectively partner cross-functionally with other organizations to support programs, delivery centers, and fabrication.
You will work to achieve team and program goals, while prioritizing and continuously fostering a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety.

Manages employees performing advanced technical knowledge and leadership to manufacturing projects to resolve production concerns
Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and direct reports
Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
Manages, develops and motivates employees
Leads complex group work sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers
Analyzes and interprets data
Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives
Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans

Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course 'Exploring Leadership'
3+ years of experience using Lean Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace
3+ years of experience leading stakeholders in analysis of process data, metrics, models and flows to identify root cause of complex problems and development and implementation of preventive or corrective actions
Experience using MS Products (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
Ability to work any shift based on needs of the operation
3+ years of experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles
3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
3+ years of experience working in Manufacturing Support organizations (e.g., LSCC, Supply Chain, Engineering)
Understanding of One BPS process and principles
Prior production experience
Demonstrated skills in communication, team building, managing conflict, building positive relationships, and ethical leadership
Problem solving skills and a drive for process improvement & excellence
