The Manufacturing Engineering Technician plays a hands-on role in supporting and improving automated manufacturing processes, equipment, and robotics. This position is ideal for a skilled problem-solver who enjoys troubleshooting challenges and driving improvements in quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Manage Automation equipment in designated process areas.
Assist in new equipment installations.
Operate, maintain, and teach FANUC material handling, welding robots or related equipment.
Collaborate with the Plant Controls Engineer to use PLC and HMI programs to troubleshoot and improve the processes.
Lead engineering projects that support continuous improvements, increase throughput, or improve product quality of our processes.
Work with outside vendors to solve problems, identify root causes, and implement practical solutions.
Use Creo and AutoCAD modeling systems to design basic machine and layout improvements.
Collaborate with Maintenance Technicians to troubleshoot equipment mechanically and electrically.
Support procedure and documentation creation/updates (WI, TPMs, PMs, 5S, …)

Associates Degree in an Engineering related field or equivalent experience
2-5 years’ experience in related field
Constant standing, walking, reaching, balancing, cervical spine motion, lower extremities, and simple grasp
