Manufacturing Engineer

The work

• Support converting equipment setup, trials, and scale-up for new products, customer requests, and changing production needs.
• Troubleshoot web handling, unwind/rewind, material flow, tooling, die, and process issues directly with operations and maintenance.
• Use AutoCAD, Excel, and practical engineering judgment to improve layouts, documentation, processes, and decision-making.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on uptime, yield, waste reduction, quality, and production-floor efficiency.

What we are looking for

• Hands-on converting, web handling, roll-to-roll, or similar manufacturing experience.
• Working knowledge of web tension, unwind/rewind, coating, laminating, slitting, dies, tooling, or material flow.
• A practical, floor-focused problem solver who works well with operators, supervisors, maintenance, and technical teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to balance technical problem-solving with production urgency.
