Manufacturing Document Control Administrator (17045)

• Collect completed production orders and build packages from designated lab spaces.
• Develop and maintain written requirements for components and documentation necessary for build packet completion.
• Maintain accountability for final package quality by performing independent reviews and confirming adherence to all quality requirements.
• Perform comprehensive audits of completed build packets and retain audit records for trend monitoring and gap analysis.
• Manage the completed build packet retention process, including procedure documentation, record retention, and ongoing support of manufacturing operations.
• Lead process improvement efforts for manufacturing build packet document retention, driving standardized, efficient, and compliant record management practices.
• Identify areas for streamlining manufacturing document-related processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and security
• Review, verify, and validate manufacturing documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal and external standards

The ability to learn quickly and adapt to change is necessary.

The candidate is expected to be able to work in a team environment as well as perform independently.

Excellent communication skills, including verbal, presentation, and writing skills are required.

• BS degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, production control, document control, or production planning.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance which requires US citizenship
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communicator with the ability to coordinate across teams and departments.
• Skilled in documenting complex information clearly and accurately

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word), SharePoint
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems (such as SAP or Oracle).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, bills of materials (BOMs), engineering change orders (ECOs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
