Job Description
Managing Quantity Surveyor role leading the QS and Commercial team at Kensova Interiors LLC.
The position has a strong pre-contract focus on estimation, tendering, BOQ preparation, pricing, and commercial evaluation.
The role also oversees post-contract commercial activities.
Location
- The role is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and guide the Quantity Surveying team.
- Manage estimation, tendering, BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, pricing, and other pre-contract activities.
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and commercial requirements.
- Coordinate subcontractor and supplier enquiries and evaluate quotations.
- Prepare tender comparisons, commercial evaluations, and tender submissions.
- Conduct cost analysis, budget monitoring, and project cost and commitment tracking.
- Manage interim valuations, variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, procurement, design, and project teams.
- Maintain commercial documentation, reporting, and commercial performance oversight.
Requirements
- BSc in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification is essential.
- Approximately 8–12 years of relevant experience.
- UAE experience is mandatory.
- Interior Fit-Out / Construction experience is mandatory.
- Strong experience in estimation, tendering, and pre-contract commercial activities.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a QS team.
- Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in PlanSwift, AutoCAD, and MS Excel is required.
- Experience with Candy/CCS, CostX, Bluebeam Revu, or similar estimating and quantity take-off software is an advantage.
