We are a transaction-focused law firm advising on corporate/M&A, banking/finance and capital market transactions as well as PPP projects.
As part of our international expansion, we are opening an office in Dubai and seeking a Managing Partner to lead this venture.
Role Overview
We are seeking a local Managing Partner to establish and lead the Lexminster Dubai office.
This is an entrepreneurial opportunity for an experienced legal professional to build a practice from the ground up in one of the world's most dynamic legal and financial hubs, backed by an established international platform and global client base.
The successful candidate will define the strategic direction, team, and culture of the Dubai office.
Location
Full-time, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish the Lexminster Dubai office, including setup, licensing (DIFC/ADGM/onshore as applicable), and regulatory compliance
- Define and execute local strategy aligned with Lexminster's international vision
- Build and lead a local team of legal professionals
- Originate and develop client relationships across the UAE and the wider GCC region
- Lead complex corporate/M&A, banking & finance, and capital markets mandates
- Collaborate with partners across other Lexminster offices on cross-border transactions
Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer with the right to practice in the UAE (DIFC, ADGM, or onshore admission, or eligible for registration)
- Solid legal background, preferably with experience in corporate/M&A, banking & finance, capital markets, or related transactional practice areas
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build a practice
- Established professional network in the UAE and wider GCC region is highly advantageous
- Strong leadership, business development, and client relationship skills
- Fluent in English
