Your Role as Manager – Value Management Office

• You will play a dual role across strategy and operations, supporting the development of value frameworks while ensuring their practical application across WMQ. Leading a team of professionals, this role connects strategic intent with execution by ensuring that investment decisions, programs, and initiatives are governed, measured, and continuously refined based on performance insights.
• Lead, develop and mentor the VMO team, setting clear accountabilities and performance expectations.
• Contribute to the development and ongoing management of the Value Management Strategy through analysis, insight and continuous improvement.
• Lead the planning, coordination and monitoring of the project and asset portfolio, ensuring initiatives align with organisational priorities and deliver agreed outcomes.
• Provide targeted leadership and support to priority and high-risk initiatives, driving planning, problem-solving and recovery actions to achieve successful delivery.
• Ensure strong governance across initiatives, including stage gates, approvals, documentation standards and reporting requirements.
• Partner with business units and stakeholders to strengthen delivery capability, improve consistency and embed best-practice delivery approaches.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and stakeholders, providing guidance on governance, delivery methodologies and value realisation.
• Drive reporting and delivery maturity, advancing insight-led and predictive performance reporting while continuously improving methodologies, tools and governance practices.
