The Manager, Supply Chain Security is responsible for creating or implementing supply chain security programs that meet CTPAT and PIP requirements, ensuring the company adheres to the security standards and procedures outlines by CTPAT and PIP, and assessing potential security risks within the supply chain and implement measures to mitigate them.
Lead and manage the company's participation in CTPAT and PIP programs.
Develop and maintain company's security profiles in partnership with our internal security team, annual reviews and required documentation in compliance with CBP and CBSA guidelines.
Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance with CTPAT and PIP requirements.
Identify and evaluate instances of non-compliance, providing corrective action measures.
Liaise with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Canadian Border Service Agency (CBSA), and other regulatory authorities as needed.
Liaise with the internal security team to coordinate training and awareness programs for relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to reflect evolving security regulations and best practices.
Manage the validation and revalidation process, including site visits and responding to government inquires.
Collaborate with cross functional teams (Procurement, Dedicated, Legal) to ensure alignment with compliance objectives.
Prepare reports and present findings to senior leadership regarding program performance and improvement opportunities.
