Manager, Strategic Procurement

Establish strong supplier partnerships focused on delivery, quality, and service expectations.

Monitor performance trends, address recurring issues, and drive accountability through clear action plans.

Reduce supplier-related disruptions through proactive performance management.

Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements that balance cost, risk, and business continuity.

Ensure key agreements are renewed and optimized before expiry.

Align procurement execution with production requirements to maintain material availability and minimize shortages.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.

5+ years of procurement or purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience sourcing raw materials, ingredients, packaging, services, and negotiating supplier contracts.

Strong understanding of supplier performance management and ERP/MRP systems such as D365, SAP, or Oracle.

Proven critical thinking, relationship-building, and communication skills that help drive sound business decisions.

Experience in dairy or food manufacturing, professional procurement certification (SCMP, CPSM), or advanced spend analysis capabilities would be considered an asset.
