Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Conduct performance reviews, goal setting, career development planning, and talent management activities.
- Drive recruitment efforts, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention of top engineering talent.
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on contribution across the full software development lifecycle.
- Partners with Product Managers, Architects, Security, and Business stakeholders to define and deliver technology solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Encourage open discussion, constructive challenges, and informed decision-making within the team.
- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, code quality standards, security requirements, accessibility standards, and operational excellence.
- Support production applications, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining appropriate governance, security, and code quality standards.
- Provide leadership and support during critical production incidents, including availability outside core business hours when required.
Required Technical Skills
- Java Development: Spring Boot
- Frontend Development: Angular, TypeScript
- API Development & Management: Apigee or similar API Gateway platforms
- Database Technologies: Oracle, PostgreSQL
- Cloud Platforms: AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda/Lambda@Edge, EFS, CloudWatch, CodePipeline, etc.)

- Monitoring & Observability: New Relic, Splunk, or similar tools
- Application Security: Qualys, Contrast, Twistlock/Prisma Cloud, or similar security platforms

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for applying secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
- Partners with leaders to ensure a viable total cost of ownership and ongoing health and wellness of applications.
- Assists in the development and implementation of application suite roadmaps through the evaluation of business needs, competitive landscape, technology currency and information security considerations.
- Manages risk mitigation controls and provides support for internal and external audits.
- Supports the engineering build of the application suite and non-technical efforts for the products.
- Represents voice of the customer, acts in a forward-facing role to business partners as an active member of a portfolio management team in the advocation of business case development, planning, financial management and evaluation of portfolio.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, mathematics, or related field is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum ten years of experience in application suite management and strong Full Stack development expertise. Experience leading numerous teams across multiple technologies. Proven experience/understanding of concepts and techniques in project delivery, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis. Detailed understanding and knowledge of the systems development life cycle and modern methodologies, practices, tools, and techniques.

Working Hours
Aligned to India business hours with flexibility for global collaboration.
