Manager - R2R

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Ensure timely completion of account reconciliations.
• Review financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or other applicable accounting standards.
• Analyze financial results and explain variances to management.
• Lead, mentor, and develop R2R team members.
• Conduct performance reviews and development planning.
• Allocate workloads and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are achieved.
• Build a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous learning.
• Partner with business units, auditors, controllers, and finance leadership.
• Manage client and leadership reviews.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Resolve accounting and reporting issues through collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor compliance and identify control gaps.
• Support risk assessment and remediation activities.
• Maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Drive automation and standardization initiatives.
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Lead accounting and reconciliation improvement projects.
• Leverage ERP and reporting tools to enhance productivity and accuracy.
