Manager, R&D Process & Technology Development

In this role, you will be responsible for achieving process development milestones on two or more new product introductions (NPI’s).

You will lead a team who have various levels of experience who are tasked with the project management for NPI projects used to manufacture catheters, guidewires and implantable neurovascular devices.

• Partner effectively across divisional and operations functions to deliver new products to market on time.

• Provide clear direction on projects and define priorities for the team.

• Determine project scope, scale, resource needs, and financial requirements for each new product, while maintaining accountability for capital and expense budgets.

• Critically assess new product charters and financial plans to identify key deliverables, including standard cost and launch requirements.

• Collaborate with counterparts across the broader organization to address common NPI challenges and implement effective resolutions.

• Guide the team through complex or difficult situations, remove obstacles, assign appropriate resources, and partner with other functions to resolve issues.

• Establish priorities and create a sense of urgency to deliver new products within quality, cost, and timeline expectations.
