The Role

  • People focused leadership position responsible for building, developing, and sustaining a high performing production organization.
  • Prioritizes employee engagement, supervisor capability, performance management, and leadership consistency across all shifts.
  • Success achieved by coaching and developing the production team, reinforcing safety culture, and ensuring clear accountability.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop Production Supervisors and Team Leads across all shifts.
  • Proactively address employee performance concerns through coaching.
  • Responsible for interviewing, onboarding, coaching, and developing employees.
  • Maintain strong presence on production floor through off shift engagement.
  • Champion safety programs and initiatives.
  • Conduct audits to ensure product quality and compliance.
  • Work closely with Scheduling to balance production plans.
  • Own production related cost performance.
  • Analyze KPIs and implement continuous process improvements.

What We Seek

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years manufacturing experience, at least 4 years leading people.
  • Chemical manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success building leadership capability.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Experience fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to lead with tenacity and humility.
  • Customer centric mindset.
  • Data driven decision making ability.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Flexible schedule including off shift support.

Outstanding Candidates Will Have

  • Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
  • Demonstrated success improving manufacturing performance (yield, MUV, rework, scrap, uptime).
  • Experience in regulated or high risk process manufacturing environments.
