Manager, Product Design

Role Responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 3–5 designers.
• Drive UX vision and execution for workplace productivity and analytics products.
• Collaborate with product management, research, engineering, and content across strategy, planning, architecture, and roadmap execution.
• Distill complex problems into clear goals and requirements and contribute to design system development.
• Lead user needs assessment, task analysis, user research planning, competitive analysis, and usability testing activities.
• Create task flows, storyboards, navigation maps, and state-transition diagrams.
• Oversee mockups, prototypes, behavior specifications, UI layouts, and UX documentation for mobile and desktop software.
• Evangelize design strategy across global distributed design teams and travel up to 20% annually.

Required Qualifications

• Experience leveraging or critically evaluating AI in work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving.
• At least 3 years managing people or leading design teams and 10+ years in UX or interaction design.
• Strong information architecture skills and a portfolio representing design work and approach.
• Expertise in one or more enterprise product spaces, including IT security, IT operations, HR service delivery, customer service, finance, or legal.
• Expertise with Sketch, InVision, Photoshop, or comparable design tools and rapid prototyping tools.
• Strong English communication, teamwork, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fluid, fast-paced, iterative, and agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating content or designing to WCAG 2.0/2.1 AA guidelines is a plus.
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS, agile or incremental delivery, and tools such as ServiceNow, Miro, or Abstract is preferred.
