Galfar Engineering and Contracting W.L.L is seeking a Manager - Planning (Data Centre) to develop and maintain the data centre's strategic capacity planning roadmap, oversee facility upgrades, and enforce capacity management policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the data centre's strategic capacity planning roadmap, forecasting future power, space, and cooling needs to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
- Oversee the design and implementation of data centre facility upgrades and expansions, coordinating with engineering, operations, and vendor teams to meet project timelines and budget.
- Establish and enforce capacity management policies and procedures, optimizing resource utilization and minimizing operational risks.
- Conduct thorough site selection analysis for new data centre facilities, evaluating factors such as power availability, network connectivity, and geographic risk.
Key Requirements
- Experience in data centre facility upgrades and expansions.
- Ability to conduct site selection analysis for new data centre facilities.
