Primary Purpose
Partner with the regional sales team to build a values-based culture and healthy work environment.
Drive core HR processes, capability building, communication, and employee engagement for the sales team.
Recruitment
- Own regional sales recruitment from manpower planning and sourcing through joining, onboarding, and induction.
- Manage internal job postings and maintain employee numbers against the annual operating plan.
- Track exits and replacements, minimize employee-related man-day loss, and analyze exit interviews.
- Support diverse talent hiring across different workforce segments.
People Planning and Performance
- Support regional people planning and implement development action plans.
- Ensure goal setting, midyear reviews, annual appraisals, feedback discussions, and individual development plans are completed on schedule.
Engagement and Culture
- Drive employee participation in pulse surveys and execute action plans based on scores and insights.
- Act as an employee champion, resolve frontline issues, and lead recognition and engagement activities.
- Communicate HR processes, employer proposition, organizational values, and code of conduct to frontline employees.
Capability Building
- Drive the organizational capability agenda with regional and national sales HR leadership.
- Deliver development and training activities, monitor effectiveness, and support change and continuous improvement initiatives.
Administration and MIS
- Generate and maintain people-process reports, records, and analysis for head office and regional leadership.
- Provide timely HR administration support to employees.
- Own third-party resource processes, including travel and expense, salary, and grievance handling.
Qualifications and Experience
- A PGDM or MBA in Human Resources is required.
- Six to eight years of experience as an HR Business Partner is required.
Key Relationships
The role works with sales employees, the regional business head, national sales HR, corporate HR teams, contract workers, and external manpower agencies.
Role Challenge
The role operates within a highly regulated and complex industry.
Location
- The position is located in Mumbai.
