Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related business discipline
- Professional qualification (ACA, CPA, ACCA)
- Minimum 6 years of external audit experience in a top tier international firm
- Proven experience managing complex audits and delegating workloads
- Strong track record of engagement management and delivering high quality audit outcomes
- Sound knowledge of UAE legal and regulatory requirements and international auditing standards
- Understanding of IT systems and their application to audit processes
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities
- Excellent verbal communication and report writing skills
- Fluent in English

The Role
- Dubai Firm is seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager/Partner – External Audit to join our team as a key partner in delivering audit services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee audit engagements, including agreeing on audit timetables, briefing teams, and monitoring engagement budgets.
- Ensure all work is completed profitably, on time, and in compliance with the firm’s professional standards, meeting client and engagement partner expectations.
- Manage, motivate, and coach audit team members, providing constructive feedback and fostering professional development through regular communication.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, particularly within the Financial Services sector, with an emphasis on banking institutions.
- Define audit objectives and establish the overall scope of engagements.
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of audit planning, including resource allocation and management.
- Conduct reviews with professional skepticism, critically assessing testing results and objectively challenging the assumptions and data supporting management’s assertions.
- Review and approve final audit reports for submission.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related business discipline; a postgraduate qualification is preferred.
- Professionally qualified (ACA, CPA, ACCA) with extensive post qualification audit experience.
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in External Audit within a top tier international firm.
- Proven experience managing complex audits and effectively delegating workloads.
- Strong track record of engagement management and delivering high quality audit outcomes.
- Sound knowledge of UAE legal and regulatory requirements, as well as international auditing standards.
- Understanding of IT systems and their application to audit processes.
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities.
