Manager, Operations

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (chemical/mechanical), Operations Management or related field, a specialization in Food Science a strong asset
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in production, development, food processing in meat processing industry
• In-depth knowledge of Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulatory/environment requirements
• Exposure to Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems within a refrigeration environment
• Strong communication and project-management skills. Exercises independent judgement and manages multiple projects
• Proficiency with MS Office Applications
• Organizational and project management skills to manage projects from concept to market
• Have analytical ability; methodical thinker and problem solver; attention to detail

Hiring Range: CAD $86,172 - $120,220

Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus up to 10% of base salary subject to the plan terms and conditions.

Please note that the expected hiring range provided is derived from a group of like roles within Sofina.

The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on geographical region, applicable experience, skillset of the candidate and internal equity.
