Manager, Operations Technology Strategy

Responsibilities

• A senior business analyst acts as a bridge between the business and the technical teams to Collaborate with subject matter experts across the business to translate business requirements into technical requirements, ensuring effective communication and understanding between teams.
• Defining the scope, requirements, and deliverables, conducting research and analysis, facilitating workshops and meetings, creating and validating models and documents, and ensuring quality and alignment with standards and best practices.
• A Senior Business Analyst plays a key role in the strategic planning within a company. They are responsible for:
• Analyzing Business Processes: Review business processes end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks. • Improving Efficiency: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and manage the implementation of solutions. • Strategic Advising: Provide strategic business analysis services and advise on the development. • Managing Projects: Lead or assist in managing projects. • Facilitating Communication: Ensure clear communication between business units and others. • Data Management: They focus on quality improvement and data management.
• Understand and transform business process requirements into technology requirements
• Lead full requirements process from both functional or non-functional perspective, ensuring the value of the features being requested links with the overall objective and organized by priority to aid delivery.
• Lead and collaborate across JLL teams to clarify, document and validate business, functional and technical/non-functional requirements
• Identify right tools and technologies working with JLL Technology (JLLT) teams for various needs of business including supporting RFP’s, tooling comparative assessments, running Proof of Concepts
• Document, craft and groom requirements / user stories, define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies, build Business cases.
• Ensure customer needs are at the forefront of the analysis, so their voice is heard in the decision making
• Articulate the AS-IS and TO-BE concepts in clear and concise language so that interested stakeholders can fully understand what choices they need to make and the consequences of each action
• Use a holistic approach when developing requirements considering people, process and organizational structure and not just the IT needs.
• Perform strategic Gap analysis on current eco systems against the needs of the business; and identify opportunities to provide improvement over short, medium and long term
• Support project or product teams during the analysis and planning stages of software development
• Evaluate risks and predict potential problems from both a specific product or project feature to a wider general strategic vision
• Facilitate meetings and workshops for team members or project stakeholders to acquire specific needs
• Undertake a comprehensive cost/benefit analysis that able to determine clearly whether an idea or opportunity is worth investing in
• Support and mentor other analysts in Business Analysis techniques.
• Work in a variety of project scenarios including from change management, agile and waterfall
• Ability to remain impartial presenting factual evidence rather than anecdotal
• At time wears and work as a Project Manager, Functional Product Owner as well
• Ability to interact and communicate with different levels of stakeholders from executive members to subject matter experts, maintaining relationships and managing expectations.

Advanced degrees will be good to have. 8-10 years of Business Analyst experience. Prior experience in Shared Service or Commercial Real Estate is a plus A tenured, motivated, collaborative candidate with exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation and influencing skills with proven experience in working with diverse teams of business users and IT teams Ability to think creatively and strategically with a focus on achieving outcomes Experience in using project management tools like Azure, Miro, Monday.com Experience in different requirement gathering / capturing user stories techniques like Brainstorming, Document Analysis, Focus Group, Interface Analysis, Interview, Observation, Prototyping, Requirement Workshop, Reverse Engineering and Survey/Questionnaire Worked on crafting and grooming agile user stories Strong planning and organisational skills Evidence based decision making skills Excellent Microsoft Office 365 products including SharePoint and Visio Experience using work / project management applications Able to embrace change from either internal or external influences Able to cope with high demand required by stakeholders Strong understanding of product development lifecycle BPMN notation in process modelling or equivalent Able to interact and communicate with different levels of stakeholders from exec members to SMEs Maintain high standards of both orally and written outputs tailored to individual stakeholder needs Driving Change Management Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities Aptitude to learn quickly and a superb attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
