Summary
The Manager of Performance Engineering is responsible for the management and supervision of all Kalitta Air Performance Engineers. Works closely with the DO, DPE, and other departments as necessary, to ensure the department operates safely, efficiently, and in conjunction with company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- · Assists in managing all aspects of Kalitta Air’s Operations Performance Engineering Department.
- · Supervises Performance Engineers and helps to ensure their duties and responsibilities are executed properly.
- · Works as a liaison between Kalitta Air, its vendors, customers, and other strategic partners as required.
- · Coordinates with other departments to ensure best practices are utilized for the most efficient operation possible.
- · Provides briefings to senior management regarding the status of the Performance Engineering Department.
- · Completes departmental tasks, as needed.
- · Identifies and/or reacts to operational issues, and deploys corrective actions as required.
