Manager of Community Programs

Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field such as Social Work, Counselling, Human Services, Community Development, Leadership, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is considered an asset.

Experience launching, developing, delivering, or scaling programs, services, or community initiatives.

Community-based, nonprofit, or social services leadership experience.

Minimum of five years' experience working with multi-barriered populations.

Progressive supervisory and management experience within community programming environments.

Experience developing and delivering community-based programs in collaboration with partner agencies.

Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership-building abilities.

Experience managing budgets, reporting requirements, and operational planning.

Strong business writing skills, including report writing and strategic planning.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and exercise professional judgment.

Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to adapt and thrive in environments characterized by growth, change, and ambiguity.

Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities effectively.
