Provide leadership, coaching, mentorship, and performance management for the IT Infrastructure team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Manage staffing resources and schedules to ensure reliable 24/7 support of enterprise and business-critical infrastructure systems.
Develop and execute the IT Infrastructure strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle plans to support organizational objectives and future growth.
Oversee the operation, maintenance, availability, security, and performance of on-premises and cloud infrastructure environments.
Identify, assess, and mitigate infrastructure risks while maintaining infrastructure asset and risk registers and ensuring timely execution of mitigation plans.
Evaluate existing technologies and recommend upgrades, migrations, modernization initiatives, and new solutions to improve service delivery and business value.
Partner with business leaders and IT teams to maintain and enhance service continuity, disaster recovery, and infrastructure resilience.
Plan, manage, and monitor IT Infrastructure operating and capital budgets, including forecasting, reporting, and long-term planning activities.
Lead and prioritize infrastructure projects and initiatives based on business impact, resource requirements, and organizational priorities.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, project teams, and subject matter experts to design and implement effective technology solutions.
Build and maintain productive relationships with vendors, consultants, and cloud service providers, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and requirements.
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements to gather requirements, resolve issues, and support decision-making.
Ensure infrastructure documentation, standards, procedures, and support materials are developed, maintained, and updated.
Translate technical concepts, opportunities, and risks into clear business recommendations for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
Promote innovation, best practices, and a solutions-focused approach to continuously improve infrastructure services and operational effectiveness.
University degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
Professional certifications such as ITIL, Prosci Change Management Practitioner, Microsoft certifications, CompTIA A+, and PMP are considered assets

6-8 years of experience supporting enterprise-level technology environments and/or working within a public sector organization
5+ years of management or leadership experience within an IT environment
Experience implementing and supporting enterprise systems and platforms, including ERP, EAM, MRP, Azure, and cloud environments
Experience leading technology programs, strategic initiatives, and complex multi-stakeholder projects
Experience with technology governance, strategic planning, policy development, and IT service management practices
Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Azure, Exchange, SQL Server, SCCM, SharePoint, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, networking, Linux operating systems, and enterprise hardware and software
Experience with data management, reporting, and analysis tools, including Excel and SQL
Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes and Change Management, Business Analysis, and Project Management methodologies, including ADKAR, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Risk Management
Ability to evaluate, implement, and support emerging technologies
