Role Overview
Support the GWAM Canada business through operational expertise in fund events, fund operations, and accounting.
This is an individual-contributor Manager role with no direct reports or formal people-management responsibilities.
Provide operational leadership through subject-matter expertise, project coordination, stakeholder management, and influence.
Position Responsibilities
- Coordinate Canadian Operations projects and initiatives, including post-implementation support.
- Assess project scope, requirements, operational impacts, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure fund system setups align with project requirements and liaise with custodians and valuation agents.
- Review operating models, develop workflows, and recommend implementation strategies.
- Document process improvements and develop controls that improve efficiency and information quality.
- Maintain stakeholder relationships and ensure initiatives comply with regulations and internal policies.
Required Qualifications
- More than 7 years of relevant financial-industry experience.
- University degree; accounting or finance specialization is preferred.
