Opportunity

The Data Design and Integration team supports new changes in the fraud data pipeline and enables Fraud Data Sciences and AI teams to integrate data feeds for analytics use cases.

The role contributes to solution design, planning, and delivery of fraud data requirements in systems-integration projects.

The manager represents Fraud Data Sciences and AI interests and supports the fraud data strategy toward AI enablement.

What You Will Do

  • Work with detection, data science, and quantitative analytics monitoring stakeholders to meet analytics, machine-learning, modeling, and reporting data needs.
  • Collaborate with Fraud Strategy, Operations, IT, and bank teams to develop solutions, make recommendations, and translate priorities into project requirements.
  • Participate in data design and planning for systems-integration projects, create and execute test plans, and contribute to launch playbooks.
  • Manage data-related project risks, issues, questions, and critical decisions, including mitigation, escalation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Support the post-launch warranty period through end-user transition and production-issue monitoring.
  • Use banking data from multiple lines of business to support the fraud-detection ecosystem.

What You Need to Succeed

  • At least 2 years of experience using data to analyze, identify, and resolve issues with SQL, DB2, or Teradata.
  • Experience in project leadership or systems integration and in capturing data requirements with end users, business analysts, and developers.
  • Strong critical-thinking and analytical skills for data analysis, gap analysis, and complex problem solving.
  • Proven communication and negotiation skills for technical and non-technical recommendations.
  • Familiarity with relational databases, data feeds, data structures, APIs, and data models.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and autonomous working skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in systems-integration projects and designing use cases, test cases, or data-flow diagrams.
  • Knowledge of HDFS, cloud infrastructure, Kafka, Elasticsearch, big-data analytics, or modeling.
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, Agile project management, and fraud detection and prevention.
