Manager, Financial Reporting

Accountabilities

Qualifications

• Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation required.
• Minimum 5 years of financial reporting experience, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry, or 4+ years of relevant public accounting experience.
• Minimum 2 years of people leadership experience, including coaching and developing high-performing teams.
• Advanced knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards and financial reporting practices.
• Experience preparing and reviewing regulatory filings, financial statements, and reporting packages.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus qualifications

• Knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance accounting, regulatory, and capital reporting requirements.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other enterprise accounting systems.
• Proficiency in Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Experience using Microsoft Analysis for Office.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including macros and automation.
• Knowledge of corporate tax reporting and compliance requirements.
