What You'll Do:
Drive Vulnerability Detection: Lead development of detection capabilities that help customers identify and assess network infrastructure vulnerabilities through fingerprinting techniques and detection pipelines while setting technical vision and roadmap.
Research Emerging Threats: Monitor and analyze vulnerability disclosures from major vendors (Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco), translating research into actionable detection capabilities that protect customers from emerging risks.
Build and Lead a Global Team: Manage a distributed team of vulnerability detection engineers and technical leads, fostering a collaborative environment while coordinating across time zones to deliver high-quality detection content.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product management and engineering teams to align detection capabilities with customer needs, directly influencing CrowdStrike's Exposure Management platform evolution and organizational strategy.
Ensure Quality and Accuracy: Own validation processes for vulnerability detections, implementing automated workflows that maintain CrowdStrike's high standards for security solutions.
AI-Enhanced Vulnerability Detection Research: Leverage generative AI tools to accelerate vulnerability analysis, proof-of-concept development, and detection rule creation while maintaining human oversight for validation and detection accuracy.
Intelligent Vulnerability Assessment Pipeline: Design and implement AI agent workflows to automate multi-step vulnerability validation processes (e.g., discovery, analysis, prioritization, remediation guidance) while ensuring human-in-the-loop verification for critical vulnerability detections and false positive reduction.
What You’ll Need:
10+ years in cybersecurity or vulnerability management
5+ years management experience with proven ability to lead technical teams
Hands-on technical leadership with vulnerability detection techniques and network security
Excellent communication skills for executive and technical audiences
