Data Warehousing
- Develop and maintain data warehouses that consolidate data from multiple sources.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to enhance performance and scalability.
- Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Data Integration
- Integrate disparate data sources, including databases, APIs, and third-party services.
- Design and develop data pipelines to automate data collection and integration.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data integration workflows to ensure reliability and performance.
Visualization & Reporting
- Utilize visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to create dashboards and reports.
- Translate complex data sets into clear and actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business units to understand data visualization needs and deliver solutions.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Document processes, data flows, and technical specifications for reference and training.
- Communicate project status, progress, and issues to management and stakeholders.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems.
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes and data pipeline development.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance principles.
