Your key responsibilities include:
Lead, coach and develop multidisciplinary technology teams, setting clear expectations and building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Oversee the performance and operational health of the firm’s digital workplace, enterprise applications and document automation environments, including incident, problem and change management and major incident response.
Oversee the lifecycle of the end-user computing environment, including Intune, Autopilot, application packaging and control, patching, deployment monitoring, device compliance, endpoint baselines, remediation and Windows feature updates.
Manage application availability and lifecycle activities, including upgrades, integrations, testing, releases and operational readiness across platforms such as NetDocuments, Intapp, Elite 3E, Bundledocs, DocuSign and FileTrail, as well as document automation platforms including Contract Express, DocAssist, DocXtools and Clausebank.
Use service data and analytics to improve reliability, user experience, compliance and operational efficiency, while managing vendor performance, licensing, renewals and service contracts.
Translate the technology roadmap into operational improvements, including cloud transition, legacy platform retirement, standardisation, automation and adoption of new capabilities.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, service delivery, architecture and data teams to ensure technology alignment and effective controls.
Act as the senior operational escalation point and report to the Head of Technology Operations and senior stakeholders on service performance, risks, priorities and remediation, with accountability for measurable improvements in service reliability, user experience and operational performance.

You’re an experienced IT operations leader with a track record of developing teams and maintaining high standards of service delivery. You combine strong technical knowledge with a practical leadership style and are comfortable moving between operational priorities, longer-term improvements and senior stakeholder conversations.
You’ll bring a combination of the following experience, knowledge and capabilities:
Demonstrated experience in IT operations or digital workplace management, including demonstrated experience in a leadership role.
Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary technology teams.
Knowledge of end-user computing and modern workplace technologies, including the Microsoft 365 suite, Intune and Autopilot.
Experience with enterprise applications, ideally including NetDocuments, Intapp and Elite 3E.
Familiarity with document automation platforms such as Contract Express and DocAssist.
Knowledge of IT service management processes and frameworks.
An analytical approach and the ability to use service and operational data to make informed decisions and drive improvement.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to make complex technical issues clear to technical and business audiences.
A calm, organised and pragmatic approach, with the ability to balance immediate operational demands with longer-term priorities.
ITIL v4 certification is highly regarded, and experience in professional services or legal technology environments is preferred.
