Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience.
Compliance: Direct experience implementing and maintaining systems within highly regulated frameworks, specifically SOX, PCI-DSS, or NIST Compliance .
Management: 5+ years managing direct reports within an engineering or operations environment.
Systems & Software: 5+ years of experience managing core operating systems (Windows, RedHat, CentOS, Amazon Linux), web servers (Nginx, Apache), and modern software packages (Terraform, Bash, Sh).
Observability & Analytics: 5+ years of experience integrating monitoring, alerting, and reporting tools (NewRelic, Akamai, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Prometheus) into new and existing systems.
Microservices & Containers: 3+ years of experience implementing and supporting microservices using containers and orchestrators (Docker, Kubernetes, DockerSwarm, Rancher, or Terraform).
